Relax 4 Tax with Houston Area Tax Specialist Wagner Grams

Okay, so money is a topic that most people often don't want to talk about because it makes them uncomfortable. I'm no different, but today I'm jumping in feet first. 

A couple of weekends ago I made the short drive to sit down with Wagner Grams with Relax 4 Tax. Wagner is a comprehensive financial analyst - translation - he doesn't just do taxes. While Wagner was trying to help me get the biggest tax refund he could, his bigger goal was to help reduce my taxes across the board. 

I've always done my own tax returns. I do them online with a tax system and then I e-file and wait for my check. I usually don't put a whole lot of thought into it - I just do it because I have to and then I'm happy when I get a check in a week or two. Well, Wagner has opened my eyes and he has advised me in ways that I can save myself and my family even more money and get a bigger refund at the end of the year. Maybe you are thinking yea well, I don't know tax stuff, or accounting stuff, and I could never understand all that stuff. It's too confusing. It is intimidating! Wagner was so knowledgeable and he was able to explains things in such a way that I totally "got it." 

Bloggers - did you know that you are supposed to be paying taxes on any monies earned from your blog? You are! If you are making money on your blog then you are a small business! I knew this already, but I wasn't sure how to go about it. I didn't know what counted as expenses, or deductions or what kind of records I should keep or what paperwork to fill out. My head was spinning! Wagner explained it all. I'm no longer wondering and worrying! 

When I went in to see Wagner I had already completed my tax return. However, he did review it for me and it turns out I had done everything properly and my return was correct. I bet you're wondering will you go back to Wagner or keep doing it yourself? I'll go back. 

While having Relax 4 Tax prepare and file my taxes will cost me a little bit more, as low as $29 with the average return costing $250, the value is in the advice. I'll be paying Wagner for his expertise, experience, and his guidance. 

Don't be intimidated about seeing a financial analyst. They should help you to feel comfortable and secure within the discussion about your financial future. They should be able to easily answer any questions you might have and they should be able to explain the answers to you in an easy to understand way. Wagner did that for me and believe it or not, I actually enjoyed the time I spent with him at his office.

Who would have thought talking finances could be fun??
