Wednesday Weigh In {Week 7}

Hey y'all! Today is off to a GREAT start and seriously, I hope no one knocks me down! The last two days have been rough  to say the least and I need today to just be awesome, all day.

I have to toot my own horn, and my Little Man's horn too, for just a second; we are on day 5 of serious potty training and he is doing so well! He has had his share of accidents but I'm so proud of him!

Okay, on to the really good stuff!

I'm so excited for week 7 of Wednesday Weigh In! Last week I told you that I was getting serious about my weight loss and I had a plan. I feel like something snapped in my head and I stopped talking about losing weight and started doing what it takes to lose weight.

I said last week that I was going to start doing weight watchers again. I knew I had all of my old program materials and my plan was to pull everything out and just do it on my own. I didn't have any intention to go to meetings or to do weight watchers online because I don't want to spend the money. However, after my post on Wednesday I went looking for my weight watchers stuff and I couldn't find it! (Side note, I found what I'd been looking for all week just a few minutes ago! Another reason to celebrate!) So, rather than using that all as an excuse, I decided to track my food & calories using myfitnesspal.

I've used myfitnesspal before but I never stuck with it! For whatever reason, it's sticking this time. I've been logging my food for one week - every single bite and drink! I'm so proud of myself for not cheating myself! Guess what else? I'VE LOST WEIGHT! 

I worked hard all week long and I've earned this weight loss and that feels so good.

I've lost 1.6 lbs since my last weigh in on myfitnesspal. I know it may not seem like much but after trying so many things that haven't worked for me and knowing that I worked hard for this, I feel like I've accomplished something. I feel motivated again.

  4. Way to go on the loss! Every pound is something to celebrate. I've been thinking about getting my WW stuff out too. I have a calculator that I can use to figure up the points so I figure that would make things easy. Valentines and my birthday coming up are just so hard to not eat all the bad stuff in sight.
