Warriors In Pink {Ford Cares} + Giveaway

A lot of you may already know this but my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2011; she is, thank God, healthy now. My mother's diagnosis had such a huge impact on our family and it made me realize how important it is that we do our part to help out with research, charities, etc. When I was approached by Ford to work with them on their Warriors in Pink campaign I was thrilled. By now, you should all know that I love ford; heck my first Ford kept us safe when we were rear ended by some idiot.

I love that Ford has taken the time and initiative to set up the Warriors in Pink program. Basically, you can purchase from a line of products - men, women's, children's, accessories, gifts, etc. and 100% of the net profit from each of those purchases goes straight to charity. Even better, you can choose from one of four charities that you would like your donation to benefit; Susan G. Komen Foundation, Young Survivors Coalition, The Pink Fund, and Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation.  Plus, when you are ordering, the website shows you just how much of your money is going to that charity.

I chose to review this gorgeous tote bag. I loved it on the website but when I got it in the mail I realized that it was ten times better than I imagined it would be. First of all, it's a giant bag (a plus in my book)! The materials are high quality and it's even got a nice interior lining. I was honestly blown away by the quality of this product.

Here I am with my tote bag all loaded up for a day at the lake. Let me tell y'all it was the perfect bag for the trip. I had two towels, bathing suits for my entire family, snacks, sunscreen, a change of clothes, etc., and still plenty of room left over.

At just $22.00, almost half of the purchase price goes to charity! I want to really encourage you to check out the warrior wear because I think you will find something that suits you and of course this is a worthy cause.

Learn more about Warriors in Pink by visiting their websitetwitter, and/or facebook pages.

The lovely folks behind Ford Cares would like to share some awareness with Charm + Sass readers. One reader will win a set of beautiful encouraging words note cards.

I know they look pretty on the computer screen, but trust me when I tell you that they are even better in person.

Entering is simple. Please visit the Ford Cares website and have a look at their Warriors In Pink Wear & Gear. Leave a comment on this post and share with me your favorite product from the line (mandatory). Then, confirm via the rafflecopter widget that you've completed that step. Remaining entries are optional but encouraged and will of course give you a better chance at winning.

Good Luck! Thank you to Fordcares.com for allowing me to participate in this campaign. While I did receive free product to review, this is a cause that I back 100%. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

  5. Strength of a Warrior Tee looks awesome! :O I'm glad your mom is doing better! My mom didn't tell us until she went thru the process to remove it. I guess she didn't want us to worry, but we would've really liked to have been there for her. :'( They were able to remove it and she is doing good. They got to it really early (thank goodness!).
